Change personal settings for language and region
You can view your Microsoft SharePoint display language, time zone, country / region and related settings at any time via your personal profile page, which you can access from your desktop or mobile devices. If your organization's policies allow, you can also change your language and region settings. Your settings only apply to your view of your organization's SharePoint and do not affect how other people view those sites.
If you're a SharePoint, see Change regional settings for a site to change regional settings for a site collection.
If you are working in an environment with on-premises SharePoint sites managed by your organization rather than a Microsoft 365 environment, your site collection administrator must provide the language you can use before following the language-dependent instructions in this article can use.
If you change your language to SharePoint and then to Microsoft 365, the Microsoft 365 setting overrides the SharePoint setting. For more information, see Change the display language in Microsoft 365.
