Delivery with Doordash is being expanded

From Houston to all of North America: McDonald's and Doordash are expanding their cooperation.

McDonald's is intensifying its cooperation with the Doordash delivery service in the USA. In the future, guests across the country will be able to order their McMenu favorites from the delivery service provider. The cooperation between McDonald's and Uber Eats will continue at the same time.

McDonald's has been offering its McDelivery delivery service in the USA since 2017. The delivery service provider Uber Eats was a partner from the very beginning. The range is now available in over 9,000 of the 14,000 or so McDonald's restaurants. Through the additional cooperation with Doordash, the fast food brand wants to make the McDelivery offerings more accessible. Most of the restaurants will work with both delivery providers in parallel.

McDonald's and Doordash have integrated their systems in such a way that Doordash orders are sent directly to the McDonalds system in order to ensure a smooth transaction for customers and franchise partners. In addition, the fast food brand will be part of the Dashpass customer program in the future. This offers members a waiver of delivery fees at selected partner restaurants for orders of $ 12 or more.

"We are excited to add McDonald's to our extensive range of Dashpass restaurants so customers can enjoy premium access to their favorite foods with no delivery charges," said Christopher Payne, DoorDash's chief operating officer. And ChrisKempczinski, President of McDonald's USA added, "Building on the success of McDelivery in the US, we are excited to bring McDelivery to customers through DoorDash, which is available in all 50 states and reaches 80 percent of Americans. It does it for our customers more comfortable to enjoy their favorites. "
