WCS is a non-profit association

Our non-profit association is committed to nature and species protection and raises awareness of the loss of biological diversity. Through environmental education and the principle of sustainability, we show possible solutions and create awareness for nature, animals and diversity. And that in different countries around the world.

We have been working with the association for various conservation projects in the rainforests since 2014 and support local environmental protection organizations, for example through financial aid, veterinary activities, capacity building and local involvement. We report on this in Germany via lectures, traditional and social media. Through our development education concept “From the rainforest to the classroom”, we clarify with Nepada about the loss of biological diversity within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals and rely on digital media and visualization.

Nepada is short for clouded leopard, Hannah's favorite animal and the beginning of everything: the Sunda clouded leopard (Neofelis diardi) occurs only on Sumatra and Borneo and is considered to be very endangered. The species has hardly been researched yet and so far little data is available from the wild. Hannah was allowed to work with the beautiful and rare animals herself on Borneo and experience them in the wild.

Nepada is aimed at people who are interested in nature, environmental and species protection, sustainability, travel, foreign countries, veterinary medicine and education for sustainable development. With all of our activities we make a contribution to leaving our world more in touch with nature than we found it.
