Is the Elton John Movie Rocketman good

Elton John talks about the biopic "Rocketman": "Must be as honest as possible"

After the incredible success of "Bohemian Rhapsody", film fans are eagerly awaiting "Rocketman". Will the Elton John film be as good as the Queen singer Freddie Mercury biopic? In a new short documentary on "Rocketman", Elton John says that the film "had to be as honest as possible". Because: "I flew very high, but also fell very low."

In "Rocketman" Taron Egerton (29) plays the young Elton John; Bernie Taupin, who worked with Elton John on many of his most successful songs, is played by Jamie Bell. The direction was taken over by Dexter Fletcher, who also stood behind the camera for parts of "Bohemian Rhapsody" after the actual director Bryan Singer was fired after differences with the actors.

"It's fascinating that this working-class kid is now one of the greatest living legends," says Taron Egerton of Elton John.
