Transnational media landscapes

The volume brings together studies on transnational media landscapes that direct the interest in knowledge to cinematographic networks beyond fixed centers. The focus is on an analysis of popular traditions from a post-colonial perspective, which places transnational film in the context of a global media culture, with particular attention being paid to European co-productions and reciprocal exchange relationships with Latin American, Asian and African cinematographies.
