This urban complex of the Harappa culture in the Indus valley dates back to the third millennium BC, and was built primarily from air-dried bricks.

Buddhist ruins at Takht-i-Bahi

The Buddhist monastery complex, founded in the 1st century, has been relatively well preserved. Remnants of the neighboring town of Sahr-i-Bahlol date from the same time.

Taxila ruined city

These are actually different archaeological sites that go back to the Neolithic. Including three city complexes, in one of them, Sirkap, a checkerboard road network was exposed.

Fortress and Shalimar Gardens in Lahore

The fortress is an example of the architecture of the Mughal period, the Shalimar gardens from the 17th century with their hundreds of fountains extend over several terraces.

Once the capital of three successive dynasties, the remains of the city from the 14th to 18th centuries attest to the skills of the civilizations of that time, including the particularly impressive Great Mosque. The Thatta necropolis contains hundreds of thousands of tombs.
