Is the scheme in the Haggadah

  • search: The scientific manuscript descriptions can be searched either in full text or by sub-areas (author, manuscript title, work title, place of origin, incipit, explicit and book decoration). The search results contain a text excerpt from the respective description with a highlighted search term and - depending on the search - a link to the beginning of the respective manuscript or directly to the text passage you are looking for (e.g. incipit and work title). When searching for book decorations, a preview image of the page found is also displayed. The search currently supports the following control characters and operators:
  • * (Wildcard): The search for Gall * finds St. Gallen and Gallus. Wildcards can be used at the beginning and at the end of a search term.
  • Quotation marks and closing marks: for example, to find entire sentences or search terms in a given arrangement, quotation marks and closing marks can be used. If several search terms are entered without quotation marks and closing marks, this corresponds to an either-or search. So finds about Freiburg pericopes much more results than "Freiburg Pericopes"
  • ~ (Search for similar spellings): with the ~ (Tilde) characters, all words are found that have a similar spelling to the searched term. So do a search for Knitter ~ also Strickler, Straightener and Strokes.
