Sara Bareilles

The American singer, composer and piano player Sara Bareilles was born on December 7, 1979 in Eureka, California. After successfully attending high school until 1998, she studied at the University Of California in Los Angeles. The young woman also works as a singer in an a capella band and teaches herself to play the piano.

After graduating from university in 2002, Sara increased her engagement as an artist. And she seeks the public: appearances in trendy bars and clubs make people sit up and take notice. In 2003 the artist released two small demo albums, "The First One" and "The Summer Confessions", which contain a large number of tracks recorded live.

At the beginning of 2004, "Careful Confessions", the first independent studio album with self-written songs, will be released. Epic Records are prudish and sign Sara.

In July 2007 the singer brought out her major debut "Little Voice" - and landed a box-office hit in the United States. The album reached the top ten of various charts, as did the single "Love Song". The trade press finds words of praise for the newcomer. She appears live in the opening programs of James Blunt, Maroon 5, Aqualung, Mika and Paolo Nutini, among others.

Almost a year late, "Little Voice" is also celebrating its official sales premiere in Europe. In addition, Sara appears on German TV in June 2008 and opens two concerts by Lenny Kravitz in Munich and Cologne as support.

Sara Bareilles pleases as a flawless pop singer who effortlessly uses elements from z. B. Folk, Country and Sixties elements mixed with it. The mostly tame production work, on the other hand, gives the impression of solidly crafted singer / songwriter activity that rarely goes beyond radio-compatible mainstream.
